GENERAL CONCEPT
The World Aquatics Women Water Polo World Cup 2023 season has commenced!
The second round of women’s tournaments with the eight Division 1 teams taking place in the Indoor Swimming Pool of the Hellenic Army Academy, will be held in Athens, Greece on 19-21 April 2023.
The Qualification round in Division 1 is to decide about the top 6 teams, who will be entitled to play in the World Aquatics World Cup Final 2023.
Slated to take place from 23-25 June, the World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo World Cup Final will see an elite eight of women’s water polo powers play in Long Beach, USA.
In the city of Athens, Municipality Vari Vouliagmeni, a joint competition will be held with eight top nations participating:
Group A: Greece, Netherlands, Hungary, Australia Group B: Spain, United States of America, Italy, China
All the games within both groups will be played between 19th – 21th April 2023.
